I am 35 years old and born and raised in Ventura, California. I have lived in Ventura all my life. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 13 years and have 3 sons (6, 12 & 14). I currently ride a 2006 FLHX Street Glide and have been riding some type of 2 wheeled vehicle since I was about 5 or 6 years old. When my wife and I are not out riding our HD, The boys and I are out riding the dirt bikes. I can't wait until they are old enough to go riding with my wife and I!

A little history:
I got my first computer when I was 8 years old. It was a commodore Vic 20 with a nice little cassette drive. I had to hook it up to my home TV because I did not have a monitor for it. There wasn't much that you could do with the Vic 20, besides playing hangman and some other really lame games. Getting bored quickly, I decided to take up programming. By the time I was 9, I had created a few of my own games. At the age of 10, I upgraded to the commodore 64. The C64 had some really great games, but I got bored with that too. For my 11th birthday, I got my first 300baud dial up modem. Anyone see war games?

It was like the modem in the movie; you had to dial the number on the phone and then set the handset on the modem cradle to connect the call. The only thing that I could connect to at the time was the Dow Jones Industrial Message Boards. Yeah, I was an 11 year old with a Dow Jones Account... LOL!
By age 12, there were many great BBS services to connect to. I started my own BBS and grew it to be one of the largest in the western United States! The BBS's (Bulletin Board Subsystem) back then were very much like this site, only they did not have pictures, video, music, etc.. Just text messages, bulletins, events, etc. as well as a download area (usually good for nothing but downloading illegal software!).
At 14, I ended up selling my BBS for a pretty decent amount of money (for a 14 year old that is). From there on, I have always worked closely with computers. When the WWW started to become popular, I learned how to code HTML and started my first business designing web sites. Since then, I have been involved in web development, graphic design, computer repair, programming, IT management, communications, marketing, advertising and promotions.
On October 12, 2007, I decided to combine my experience with computers, marketing and communications with my lifelong love for 2 wheeled vehicles to create a social network for motorcycle enthusiasts… It has been a long and grueling road, but things are starting to take shape!

Family, friends, riding dirt bikes with my boys, riding my Harley with my wife, coaching football, watching football, camping, snowboarding and every once in awhile... doing nothing at all.

Preferably ones with a picture here and there. I try to read regularly, however, leisurely titles tend to get beaten out by the 1000 page technical bricks that I read to stay ahead in my industry.
