I am a 55 year old widow who loves life, riding, grandkids, family, my dog and my friends; not necessarily in that order. I work full time so I don't get to ride as much as I would like to. I have 8 beautiful grandkids (4 boys and 4 girls) from 4 wonderful kids. My chow lab mix; Buddy is my best friend. He is a GREAT dog (sshhh don't tell him...he thinks he is a person!)He pretty much rules the roost here. I'd love to get a side car for him if I could get him to wear doggles and ear plugs!

Besides riding and playing with my grandkids and dog; I like camping, swimming, walking, quilting, reading, boating. I am always up for an adventure. I will try almost anything once. I like to go for rides to no where? Just see where we end up.

My favorite author is Nora Roberts but I will read just about anything. The one book that really spoke to me is "Ghost Rider" Travels on the Healing Road; by Neil Peart (the drummer from RUSH). It is a narrative of his journey on a BMW across and through; Canada, Alaska, Mexico and all of the US. He starts out running from personal tradegy and ends up with an extraordinary journey of a life time.

I like all kinds of music except RAP. Classic Rock, Oldies and modern Country are the norms. If I just want to relax Yanni goes in the cd player.

I don't watch a lot of tv. I like Law and Order, CSI (all of the), Medium, Deal or No Deal, Wheel of Fortune, Desperate Housewives and Charmed.

I like most types of movies except documentaries or horror films. I'm not into blood and guts. My fav of late is "Wild Hogs". It is hysterical. If you havent seen it you really should. Anyone who rides a bike can relate to something in it! LOL!!

My DAd, Son, Husband and Mom whom fought with all they had against cancer. The cancer won in the end.

I went 2 years without a bike (because i thought I couldn't ride anything but a Harley) and hated every minute of it. I couldn't afford a new one so I waited. But I had ridden a friends Vulcray (sp?) and liked it. Another friend found this Roadstar and would have bought it if it wasn't purple. When I sat on it I loved it! It fit. It was very comfortable. I bought it. I still love it. And I am sure I will keep it even if I do do buy another Harley!

1975 Harley Davidson 1200 Super Glide FXE; I rode this for 23 years. I loved this bike. But after my husband passed away; it got tired and I got broke. It was too expensive to keep up without a mechanic in the house! I will have another Harley someday when I can afford a new one.

1969 Honda CB350; I got my license with this one.
