A rider went down
A brother biker
Thinking he was allow
For alone he was not
With friends
Family
He was in their thoughts
Next to him rode an angel
On a dark horse he rode
For the bikers time was near
As the biker lost control of the bike he was on
The dark angel spread his wings
Catching the young man’s soul
Sparing him pain
“Come, said death, ride beside me”
“You are to meet those who love you,
though you have not met them,
for they are of your family
of past and to be”
Into the morning light they rode
Rising from this earthly plain
Where the roads go on forever
And loved ones are always there
To greet with open arms

This is also for all the brothers and sister riders we have lost.
May they ride the roads forever with the wind in their faces.
