We left Portland Wednesday morning slidind onto the I-5 commute traffic, but with a singularly different purpose defined by the bedrolls and camping gear lashed onto our bikes; SO LONG SUCKAS, WE'RE ON VACATION!!!!
It was cold and overcast for most of our trip until we got as far as Grant's Pass, and we used some one-use hand warmer packets made for skiers. These kept our hands warmer than just the gloves. As soon as we turned onto hwy 199 the scenery got better immediatly!
