Escorting the Traveling Wall
Hello friends.... Well I have got to tell you all... Chris & I were a part of the escort today that escorted the Traveling Wall from Jasper Michigan to Onsted Michigan which is just down the road from where it will be set up for the next 5 days at the Michigan International Speedway where it will be on display 24 hours a day from September 10th - September 14th. I gotta tell you that we have done many many rides and this one rated in my book as the BEST!! There were not only 1000's of bikes, old cars, trucks, etc... but we were escorting THE WALL!!! DAMN!! What a RIDE!! Cops had traffic stopped at every intersection the entire way (approx 15 miles) all oncoming traffic was stopped. People were out of their homes, businesses. I mean people were outside of McDonalds, Wendy's,Taco Bell, the Hair Salon's the downtown courthouses... Oh My GOD!! This was a first for me and I was absolutely FLOORED!!!!!!!!!! Little babies waving the American flags as we passed and elderly folks standing outside of the elderly care facilities giving us the "Peace" sign. Talk about a feeling of TOTAL JOY!!! Today I felt like I really did something good when really all I was doing was what I love to do.... riding on the back of our bike. Then I realized we were "moving" the "WALL" WOW!!!!! It brings tears to my eyes even now as I type this to you all. It was truly amazing today to be in that long procession and feel what I felt & I just had to come here & share it with all of you!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA & GOD BLESS ALL OF OUR FAMILIES & LOVED ONES WHO ARE FIGHTING EVERYDAY TO KEEP US FREE!!! Ride Safe & Shiny Side Up Always! ~Terri & Chris~

Yes, it really does give a whole new meaning to the word FREEDOM! Please continue to watch my page as I will be adding new pictures over the next few days of the WALL. Today Chris and I went over to Michigan International Speedway and saw the Native Americans do the Blessing of the Wall. It was yet ANOTHER incredible experience for me as I am Native American (Cherokee). Checke out the pics.Although the blessing itself is not allowed to be photographed their are a couple of pictures of 2 of the chiefs doing some of the blessings of the parts that could be photographed. Just AMAZING and so RESPECTFUL of those who have GIVEN their LIVES for this COUNTRY!!
