I have been riding since the old age of 7. By age 13 I was racing motocross (M/C) and by 15 factory sponsored by Kawasaki, (remember the Green Streak series of bikes). Have ran the gamut in racing from M/C, flat-track, oval, road, and drags, hell even tried the ice thing a couple of times but just wasn't my bag.
This coming fall (2008) by estimate I will hit the million mile mark on two-wheels. I'm not a fair weather rider. Even here in MN - if the roads are clear - I ride a Harley regardless of temperature.
