Sgt. Rich "FinDog" Findley Memorial Ride
A Motorcycle Ride to Remember
Sargent Richard Findley #2515 (PGPD) - who was killed in the line of duty on Friday, June 27, 2008.
Sgt. Finley leaves behind a wife and two small children.
Sgt. Richard Findley was an active 20 year member of the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department and a 10 year vetran of the Prince George's County Police Department.
To commemerate his dedication to his family, friends, and co workers a Memorial Motorcycle Ride will be held on Saturday August 23, 2008. The ride will commence at the Harley Davidson Dealership located at 11800 Laurel Bowie Road in Laurel, Maryland. The ride will go from the Harley Davidson Dealer to the cemetary located in Davidsonville, Maryland and then will terminate at the Laurel Sports Bar located on Main Street in Laurel.
The Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department is also accepting donations specifically for the Findley family. Please make the check payable to "Beltsville VFD" and write "Findley Family" in the memo section of the check and mail to:
