Bulletins vs. Blogs

Postby ravensrides on Fri Apr 18, 2008 12:40 pm

Hi all

Can someone explain how bulletins work vs. blogs? What's the difference between the two?

Cheers,
Linda

Biggest differance i can see is blogs can be read by anyone, to me, there to rant, rave, let off steam, tell a story about anything you would just like to get off your chest. Bulletins however, as best i can figure can only be read by people on your friends list, now to me, a bulletin would be giving information about a rally, ride, benefit, maybe giving thanks to someone or a group that has given you help or help to others, or asking for help for someone, maybe you get my point, but bulletins can only be read by people on your friends list, i dont agree with this, seems to me a person would want all they could get to attend a benefit or whatever, no matter if you liked them or not, its for a good cause, right, but im told by not being able to read them unless your on their friends list, it makes a person request to be friends, and this is how you get friends, i disagree, i dont have to like a person or be their friend to help out on a worth while cause, and im sure not not going to request to be friends with someone just so i can see a bulletin they posted, theres just a little more to friendship than that to me,maybe im just twisted that way.

I agree with Saddletramp...I think the Bulletins should be able to be read by anyone and I too am not going to ask to be someone's friend just so I can read their Bulletin.
