Thank you for contacting me.
This is a bad bill and does not need to be on the books at all. 
I have researched the statutes and found numerous statutes that are in existence that already cover these areas, including the confiscation of your vehicle. 
The bill discriminates against one (1) group of motorists, Motorcyclists.
At our state ABATE meeting on Saturday in Brooksville, Florida James Reichenbach assured us that the bill was dead since it does not have a sponsor.  I disagree since we are so early in the year and the new session does not start until March 08.
I plan on contacting all transportaion committee members and writing letters to them as well as all of my representitives.
There has been some luck with some of our members writing their senators in regards to this bill as well.
I plan on speaking personally to Representitive Patronis about this bill and explain the not only discriminatory aspects of the bill but also the redundancy of the bill.
