Streetglide wobble

I have a 06 streetglide, at high speed (60-65) going around a curve the rear goes into a wobble.  I had to speed up to stop it,  when I hit 70 it seem to stop.  My tires have less than 10,000 miles on them.  Any ideas on what causes this or how to stop this problem.  Does anyone else have this happen?

More than likely an alignment issue. The rear wheel may need adjusting. Also, the front triple trees should be checked for tightness around the fork tubes from time to time. This could cause some handleing issues. The only other issue that I know of that causes a wobble is the head tube being loose or worn out. That is an eerie feeling when that high speed wobble begins. You should have a qualified mechanic check it out.

Streetglide wobble

Make sure that the neck bearing preload is correctly set (typically 1-2 inches of fall away).  10,000 miles on a rear tire would likely be getting close to the wear limit on the tire (check the wear indicators).  If the tire is good, verify proper air pressure.  Has your bike always done this or is this something that has just started?

wobble stabelizer

the rear end wobble is pretty common on the larger harley models, that is why you are starting to see alot of after maket stabelizer. One of my Brothers in the Wolf Pack has engineered his own and we have it on all the baggers in our group. Works like a dream, real easy to install.

I've forgotten which 06 and 07 Harley's have a design problem.
I've listened in on a few conversations while at my local Harley.
Now Harley is aware of the problem but so far has done nothing to solve it.
But most of the problems if I remember right was with the front end being to light and had to short of a rake.
Missallighnment on the rear would pull your bike left. Even an eighth really screws you up.
But like was mentioned before, have a quailfied mechanic take a look.
If still under warrenty, make Harley fix it.
As for me, I'm done with Harley. I'll never buy a new one again. I'll build or buy used and just fix what ever is wrong.
Why,??, My last straw was my Highway Hawgs US tour trip. I had my last service done by Harley and I lost my rear breaks on the trip. Nothing happened since I had fronts. I came to a stop just short of hitting a bottom dump as he pulled out in front of me. I checked my breaks then checked the fluid. Bone dry. They never even bothered to open and check it. I don't think they did anything during that service. Just charged me and sent me on my way.
I've heard this similar story way to many times. I'm done with them.
Aftermarket all the way for me and my next one, I'll build myself.
