Does anyone know if you can rebuild a petcock?

I asked the same question once and my vet told me no, just finish him off and fry him. lol,
I'm sorry, just feeling good today. lol And I'm not sure but it will probably be less expensive to just get a new one and install it.
Have a great day,
Doc

as far as I know the answer is NO. Just get another one. Make sure it is the petcock.

Rebuild
I don't know about H-D's, but I have taken out the petcocks from Hondas, and cleaned them up, added new O-Rings, and re-installed with good results. On Hondas there is a tubular screen that will get stopped up with time and dirty gas. It can be cleaned, gently though. I would take it out, AFTER locating another one, and see what it looks like at least. Just make sure you can get another in case it comes apart and is un-repairable.
