STAR DAYS is the annual four day STAR Touring and Riding International rally. During this event we get together to ride, see old acquaintances, and make new friends, but most of all to have fun. The Yamaha Star Line of motorcycles is featured at STAR DAYS. Most of the vendors at STAR DAYS make products for Star motorcycles. Here is your opportunity to customize you favorite scooter. STAR DAYS is located in different areas each year, around the country, the rotation being central, west, and east. The rotation of venue helps our members and attendees to see new areas of the USA. STAR DAYS is the largest gathering of Star motorcycles in North America.
Some of the events at STAR DAYS each year are games for adults and kids alike, bike games and skills tests, a planned ride to the local Veterans hospital or care center. The SWAMPAZZ ride, a six hour endurance ride with minimal stops. The Trivia Ride tours the local area with points given for correct answers on local area points of interest. Seminars are held daily from customizing to maintenance, chapter growth and motorcycle safety.
Star Motorcycles also hosts a BBQ for all attendees of the event. STAR Touring hosts a breakfast for the different member groups in STAR. STAR also holds an auction for the benefit of FTC (Feed The Children) and the Star Family Foundation. We have an awards banquet for recognition of outstanding members who have furthered the organization in the previous year. The most exciting and heart warming event at STAR DAYS is the FTC ride. The FTC ride entails the entire group of riders attending the rally to escort a semi truck full of food to the local charity for distribution. This event has become a benchmark of STAR DAYS.
There are many other activities going on at STAR DAYS. This is the place to meet new people that share the same interests as you and may even ride the same type motorcycle. You need to come out and put out your hand, smile, say a kind word and make it a goal to meet 10 new people. There are no strangers in STAR, only people we have not met yet. STAR Touring is an International organization. Past years at STAR DAYS we have had many members from other countries attend the event. Canada, Italy, UK, France, New Zealand, just to name a few. You never know who you may meet and from what country.
To attend and participate in all of the events at STAR DAYS you should pre-register. STAR Touring and Riding Assoc. works with the local area CVB and Hotels to negotiate good rates for attendees of the event. You can register for the event and book your room all at the same time online on this site. The vendor area is open to the public; the FTC/Star Family Foundation Auction is also open to the public. Star Motorcycles donates a new motorcycle to the auction each year. We will provide the details on this year's bike as soon as they are available. We will also post the schedule of events as soon as they are confirmed.
The event dates for this year is July 22-25. This is Tuesday thru Friday. The location this year is Rogers/Bentonville, Arkansas. The host hotel will be Embassy Suites in Rogers. The vendors, the games, seminars and all rides will start from this location. Registration for attendees will open online February 4, 2008.
