Sometimes we all have bad days, weeks or whatever. I recently have been stressed about many things. More like feeling beat up and physically/mentally exhausted.
However.............
Today I found something out about a friend of mine who I worked with in the E.R. Thursday evening, he went out with a group of new co-workers, to celebrate a new job he recieved. Training new physician assistants. Apparently, there was a mechanical bull at this place. They all took turns to see how they did. John fell off, broke his neck and is now paralyzed from the head down and on a ventilator to breathe. His condition is so bad, they cannot even operate at this time. It kind of puts things into perspective......... No matter how bad they seem, and how stressed one is, ask........... Can it be worse? For me the answer is yes. I bet in anybodys case they can find a yes. Regardless of the religion or train of thought....maybe some can say a prayer for him. There doesn't seem to be any other options at this time.
Thanks, Ricky
ATTENTION MS FRIENDS: I started a Free Fantasy Football League, on CBS Sports. It is NOT a public league. You need the name of the league and a password. If you are interested send me a message and let me know. I have 4-6 players so far. The league allows up to 12 players. So there are roughly 6-8 slots left. As I said, it's free and just for fun.
Have a great day!!!

Chess, do you write in html? Look at mine under 30% chance.... You need to use the html commands, it works much better.
Use the break. < br >
You need to put it all together, that will cause breaks in what you write. Ricky
Ok so here's the deal. I am sure like most everyone here, we all check out the weather everyday. I ride to work home, wherever I can. Generally, I use two rules related to the weather. #1 - If the weather report says 40% chance of rain or less; I ride. #2 - If the weather report claims, a 50-60% chance of rain or less d/t conditions favorable for a thunderstorm... I ride. Today they report nostly sunny with a 30% chance of rain. No brainer? Right? So I head off to work, the sun is occasioanlly out, and it's cloudy. I get to work wait all day to get out, and it's the same. No problem, it's like 80 out! I stop at a couple places and ride around a short bit. I see what looks like a big time fog in front of me, about a mile and a half down the road. Then I realized I think it's rain ahead? I pull over, throw on the coat, throw my pager, phone, Ipod and anything else in the saddlebag. I start riding down the road again. Seems good............. WOOOOSH!!!! It poured like it was one big bucket! I was headed out East, with no place to pull over. The ditches were filling up and I couldn't see worth a crap. Before I knew it, I kid you not! My boots were filling up with water! I literally was starting to wonder if anybody actually drowned, while riding a bike in a downpour like this one? The downside was, I got home took all the clothes off and hopped in the shower. When I was done I laid out my jacket, which was soaked. The leather had this weird odor coming from it? I never had this happen before, I hope it just dries out and it's ok? Anyways, so much for 30% huh? Of course that's how it is here usually. The only job in the world you can be consistently wrong at, and not get fired. Have a nice day! Ricky
