Hi Everyone, Ang had to go to Tucson yesterday to see two different doctors and for a CT scan. Her cancer doctor did another Bone Marrow Biopsy and she also went to see a Gynecologist. She was told she had fibrous tumors in her uterus/ ovaries and through tests that will be back in a few days (same as her biopsy) we will have the results. But the doctor was sure she has a type of ovarian or uterus cancer. It seems to run on her fathers side of the family more so than mine. I am not sure yet how they are going to treat it and the Gynecologist will be working with her Cancer doctor very closely to prevent any errors. Ang just recovered from walking pneumonia and I was hoping she would be feeling better by the holidays but I guess that won't be happening. Well, I will write more when I have more information. Love & Hugs to you all and don't forget Ang in your prayers please. Nancy aka Lady Red
Hi, Well , hell is approaching us again. Not as bad this time but still, it makes Angela's life difficult. Her Graft vs Host is getting her down. She has a dry cough that if she exerts herself in anyway or if she talks too much or even when she eats starts and will not cease for a short until she feels she isn't getting oxygen in her lungs. She went to Tucson on Friday where they did a scan on her lungs and said there was something going on in there. They were not conclusive yet, we will find out more this week when the test results come back. The Doctor put her on steroids for now and she has an inhaler. She also was slightly jaundice and her liver profile showed her liver counts were up a little. The doctors also found out that her kidney has a block and is filling with fluid. Not to a large extent though (so far thank God). Put them all together and she is feeling pretty crappy again. And in other news, I had surgery on my right knee on the 18th of this month and I am walking on it already. I start back to light duty work tomorrow. Doctor told me I have to slow down and behave, all I could do was laugh and say yep, sure doc. Also, my brother, Bill, is going through cancer and chemo treatments right now. If you could, please say a prayer for him and his family. To my brother Red, let Billy know I love him and he is in my prayers as well as Marcia. I think of you both quite often and miss you dearly. Well, I'm in college and my school work is calling to me to git'er done. Will let you know how Ang is doing when we find out more. Love & Hugs Nancy
