Hi...I hope everyone had a safe and fun filled Labor Day weekend. I just wanted to share my story, hope you enjoy. Jerry and I have been looking for some riverfront property to buy in our home county (beautiful Switzerland Co. in southern IN) for some time. Well when we were out riding on Saturday we saw a few signs posted. This one place seemed to catch both our eyes because after we got home later that evening we both mentioned it. We had plans to ride in a different direction Sunday so nothing more was said. Then on Monday we decided that after two days of riding in the heat that a car trip might be nice...so we thought why not go and check out that property that we saw for sale. The trip down was beautiful as always, if you've been down along the Ohio River in southern IN you know what I'm talking about. We arrive at the property and pull down in the lane...there was the most awesome view of the river that you could ask for. We drove on back to the end of the lane to check out the house...as we were driving back we noticed there were harley's at some of the camp sites. We both thought..."Hey alright...this is our kinda place". After looking the house over we started walking back up toward the campsites where we noticed a couple of guys who seem to be looking us over pretty good.
One of the guys greeted us with a friendly "Hi how you folks doing today" we replied "Hey we doing great" and proceded to tell him what we were doing and ask him if he was the owner. He told us no he wasn't but his buddy down at the first camp site was. Now all this time I'm looking at this guy thinking to myself...I know you. Well after several minutes my curosity finally got the best of me and I ask him. Sure enough he is one of my MS friends!!!
Now I know why some of the pictures on his profile looked so familiar to me! They were taken in the same place that I call home... looking at the same view that I grew up enjoying and hope to get back to. We hung around and talked for awhile with him and his buddy that owns the place...both super nice guys. It was a pleasure meeting you Mark...if everything works out we hope to be sharing that "little piece of heaven view" with you. Being able to put a real face to a profile was great. It truly is a small world!
